Project Design Engineer (f/m/d)

For one of our clients in the Schaffhausen area, we are seeking a Project Design Engineer (f/m/d).

Do you have a passion for creating innovative solutions? We're looking for a highly motivated and creative R&D Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to develop new products and optimize our existing portfolio of low-voltage products and systems.
 

 

General Information:
 

• Location: Schaffhausen

• Contract: 1 year 

• Start Date: ASAP

• Working Hours: 100%

• Work Arrangement: on-site, 20% remote

Responsibilities:

 

• Developing innovative design concepts and collaborating with project and product teams to find effective solutions

• Creating manufacturing-ready designs for new components, working closely with various departments to proactively implement design solutions

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field

• Proven technical knowledge in designing plastic and stamped/bent components. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for low-voltage products is a plus

• Strong proficiency in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)

• Excellent communication skills in both German and English, spoken and written

• A high degree of self-motivation and a results-oriented approach with a positive attitude
